Student creating textiles samples using felt. This emblisher machine helps combine different fabrics into one new textile with beautiful texture.

Sketch book development. Research on ☘️ textile. Patchwork and illustration of Sybil Connolly’s design done here using hot glue to achieve the pleat texture.

Student’s research is on ☘️ designer Sybil Connolly. Sketch book entails drawings, mark makings and combined material, student must demonstrate the ability to create 15 textiles samples to a great quality standard using Sybil as inspiration but still focusing on their primary research. The content of the primary research will aid the textile development.

Student here demonstrating the use of different kind of adobe illustration tools by creating the process of their logo design. Playing round with various tools, all kind of fonts, mark making and texture. It is an exciting and enjoyable process

Digital illustration flat drawing. Knit wear cardigans and jumpers. This flat drawing allows the student to demonstrate the ability to create/draw digitally and label garments. This process also inspires the student to learn how to put together a small collection of knit wear.

FACIAL ANALYSIS

Fashion styling is another module in our syllabus. It's an interesting subject, in this particular topic BODY ANALYSIS, interaction brought alot of laughter and opinions to the studio table. As a designer you cannot just start designing without putting your client's body type into consideration. Class activity is to research on different body types.
