Before DEAIF had a name, it had a classroom.

Over ten years ago, I started teaching young children in Abeokuta. I watched children arrive unable to read, leave unable to stop. I watched teachers in Jengre do brilliant work with no tools and no training. I watched girls miss school every month for something completely preventable.

I kept asking: what if someone built something to fix all of this properly?

Then I realised I was that someone.

My name is Abosede Ogunnika, known as DrGenius. I am the founder of DEAIF. And this is the beginning of something that will outlast all of us.

Today, I am officially announcing something deeply personal.

DEAIF (DrGenius EduAct Impact Foundation) is now live.

This foundation was born from a simple but urgent realization: too many children are full of potential, yet surrounded by limitations. Too many teachers are passionate, yet unsupported. Too many communities value education, but lack the tools to make it effective.

And I kept asking myself one question.

What if I stop waiting for change and start building it?

That question became DEAiF.

DrGenius EduAct Impact Foundation is an education-focused initiative committed to improving learning outcomes by supporting underserved schools and communities through practical, structured, and impactful projects.

𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙤𝙘𝙪𝙨 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙨:
●Supporting children with learning resources
●Empowering teachers with training and development
●Providing educational materials to schools in need
●Creating mentorship and learning support programs
●Improving Early literacy and learning and ●Discovering talents
●Driving community-based education interventions

Putting structure to passion

This launch means a lot to me because I did not just create the idea. I built the identity too.

I designed the DEAiF logo myself, and I also built the foundation’s website myself. It is my way of proving that purpose must be backed by action, not just intention.
