It was indeed a special moment for Gilmore to have the well respected Dr Azam Mohd Nor, a peaditrician always loved by kids, gracing Gilmore’s Berbuka Puasa event. Thank you Dr Azam! Our berbuka event concluded with duit raya to Gilmore’s beloved team, raya raya! ❤️

Gilmore’s very own Bazaar Ramadhan! Our kids had a great time preparing their specialties; Roti John, and delicious smoothies 🍧 where choices aplenty annd opps someone had a sippy! A delightful time, role playing customer-seller while learning politeful greetings, and sharperning social skills. After an eventful day, Gilmore Kids break their fast together 🕌- pretend play of course! ❤️ Marvelous March continues, take a peek at our class activities. We built plastic lungs to see how amazingly our lungs work!

From class to farm! February is animal month in Gilmore and what better way to celebrate Furry February? With an exciting class trip to IOI City Farm! Here’s an excerpt of our Daily Dojo Reports from the awesome trip:

🐾 Field Trip to IOI City Farm 🚌
18 February 2025

What an exciting day for Gilmore Kids at IOI City Farm! 🎉 The adventure started with a fun bus ride 🚌 alongside friends. We fastened our seat belt and gazed out the window, excited for the adventure ahead!

We saw snakes 🐍 and lizards 🦎 up close! Inside the parrot enclosure 🦜, we even got to hold the colorful birds with the zookeeper’s help. The desert foxes were so adorable 🦊 and it was fun seeing curious meerkats 🐾 scurrying around their space. The best part was feeding carrots 🥕 to the fluffy guinea pigs and rabbits 🐹🐰.

Next, we visited the aquarium 🐠, where we saw giant freshwater fish swimming gracefully. Before feeding them, everyone washed their hands. We watched in awe as the fish came up to eat! We also explored the touching pond 🌊, feeling the cool water while observing the fish up close.

To wrap up the trip, Gilmore Kids had a Habitat Workshop 🏡. We listened to the guide and helped build a home for the animals 🛖🐾. It was a fun and hands-on experience! Finally, we hopped back on the bus 🚌 and enjoyed our snack time at Gilmore 🍎. What a fantastic learning experience! 🎉🐾 Well done, Gilmore Kids! You were so brave and curious today! 💪👏

🐾It’s Furry February in Gilmore, and our little explorers embark on paw-some adventures!✨We’ve had a lot of fun activities! From roaring through our 🦖Dino Adventure to strengthening fine motor skills with Hatching Dino Eggs 🥚 every activity is designed to support speech, sensory, and motor development. 🐄 🐟🦀 Farm to Sea Sorting Challenge builds cognitive skills, while Handprint Dino Art promotes creativity and hand coordination. February has been excellent! 👍

How has January been treating you? It has been wonderful in Gilmore! 🍫 Chocolate factory day, role playing during speech, ah it was fun! We swam with Miss Aida during hydro, and cleaned up our beautiful Gilmore class, making sure it’s s**c and span 🧹. Numberblock is always a hit, always accompanying us in class. So much fun with new items, always from Melissa and Doug with Janie and Joe ❤️🌸

Gilmore Kids at IEEE Conference: MyEMBS Summit 2024-Bridging Beyond Limits.

We had the privilege of participating in the IEEE conference, where our very own Director moderated a session that truly embodied the theme of “Bridging Beyond Limits.” The panel featured incredible startups like Brainbow and LemmeLearn, each bringing unique insights into the world of technology and special education.

It was an inspiring experience to meet like-minded innovators from across the globe, from New Zealand to Greece, all eager to share their passion and ideas. The conference became a space for collaboration and connection, and as we shared our vision and initiatives, it was humbling to witness the admiration and excitement from attendees who were in awe of what we offer. At Gilmore, we truly believe in creating opportunities that go beyond traditional limitations and foster an inclusive, empowering environment for every child.
