Interested in Space? 💫We have some news! 💫
3rd of March we welcomed representatives of Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary here in our university. Maybe you already know that Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary is a national space operator of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Accordingly, Company is dedicated to introduce competitive space technologies, products and services in the interests of Kazakhstan. Taking into account their main mission, we were interested in the possibility of internships (field trip) for students of our University. At the same time, a key discussion topic was about joint organization of hackathons and other events among students in the field of aerospace industry. At the end of meeting, we came to the idea of developing bilateral cooperation further.

We keep expanding our partners and this time we had a meeting with Seedstars Nur-Sultan and Astana Innovations. You may know that Seedstars is a global venture capital fund investing in technology startups in the early stages of development in emerging markets with more than 50 portfolio companies. In turn, Astana Innovation carries out activities in stimulation of innovative solutions in the capital to improve the quality of life, business environment and city management through creating demand for innovation. 🤝We have discussed about organization of events for 2020, such as competitions, master classes, hackathons, etc. and the possibility of providing a platform for the above events.
This meeting has played as a foundation for the next steps.

One of the main priorities of our activity is to expand cooperation with enterprises and IT companies.
For these purposes, Astana IT University together with Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry met with the representatives of Siemens Kazakhstan.
During the meeting was discussed various issues, such as:
▪️creation of a joint multifunctional educational center;
▪️creation of a joint telematics research laboratory;
▪️developing a joint internship program based on Siemens that would benefit for our students in the long term perspective.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed interest in developing bilateral cooperation and implementing joint commercial projects.
