Starfish Village

Village Montessori nestled in the heart of Camana Bay on the beautiful island of Grand Cayman in the Caribbean is seeking Toddler (18m-3yrs), Casa (3-6yrs) and Elementary (6-9yrs) Montessori Guides to join our growing school. We are looking for guides that are warm, cheerful, dedicated, and flexible who understands the Montessori philosophy. We are looking for a dynamic individual who wants to be a part of a team that is passionate about Montessori and willing to grow with our school.

Applicants must have a Montessori Certification from AMI, AMS or MACTE and hold a BA in Education or similar as well as completion of a full three-year cycle in a Casa classroom. The candidate should have a strong foundation in the Montessori philosophy. We are looking for team player willing to make a long-term commitment to our school.

Starfish Village / Village Montessori invites qualified individuals to apply for the following positions:

Montessori Guides (Toddler, Casa & Elementary):
- Montessori Teaching Certification
- BA in Education or similar
- At least 3 years’ experience in a Montessori classroom
- Infant/ Child First Aid CPR certification


All applicants must be professional, be well versed in the Montessori philosophy, have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, excellent record keeping, organizational and lesson planning skills. The ability to work as a flexible team player, maintain a flawless attendance record and punctuality are a must. Darkness to Light Training and fluency in a foreign language would be an asset.
