Our JGHS Under-16 Girls Cricket Team were crowned the Girls Secondary School Cricket Champions yesterday after an outstanding performance in the finals against St. Ignatius Girls.
St. Ignatius posted a total of 86 runs for 6 wickets in 12 overs. The girls rose to the challenge with confidence and skill, successfully reaching the target with 87 runs for just 2 wickets in 10.5 overs.
This victory marks the first cricket title for JGHS in the history of the competition, proudly sponsored by Cayman National Bank. It is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the dedication, teamwork, and resilience of our students.
