Weighing pomegranates, apples, shofars, and all the Rosh Hashanah objects we can find using our scale. That pomegranate is heavy!

Then when we cut it up we found lots of little seeds inside! Just like our many Mitzvot that we do throughout the year!

Engineering challenge: build a scale using a hanger, 4 pieces of yarn & 2 recycled buckets.

We used our diy scales to demonstrate the High Holiday symbol of the and it’s visualisation of the many we collect throughout the year and the mistakes too, until we clear them out by fixing those mistakes with !

The JUDA Hebrew class worked hard, studying the topic of Jewish prayer & blessings, aced their tests and all did extremely well at the amazing Jew Q Competition!

And Mazal Tov to Rosie Bell for earning the Cayman Islands JewQ trophy for this year! 🏆

We went back in time to experience how the Jewish People left in a hurry with the dough on their backs. Then we entered our Time Machine to go forward in time to learn how matzah is baked in modern times and tried baking some ourselves!

We tested all types of objects in water to see if they would sink or float. Then we learned about Moshe’s mother making a basket for baby Moshe and coating it with tar so that it would float in the Nile.

We made Moshe & Pharaoh puppets to help us tell the story of Pesach!
