Bitcoin Ordinals make use of an inscription process. In simpler terms, you can attach any form of digital content onto a , making it a unique digital artifact. Initial tools for this were relatively technical, requiring node operation, but newer, no-code options are emerging for the less technically inclined 👩‍💻

Ordinals vs Traditional NFTs 🥊

Bitcoin Ordinals and Ethereum-based NFTs differ fundamentally in how they are stored and valued. While rarity in Ethereum NFTs often comes from attributes of the art itself, the rarity of a Ordinal could be influenced by its block context - say, being the first satoshi in a new block or a mining adjustment period. This provides a fresh outlook on asset valuation within the crypto space.

Risks and Limitations ⚠️

1. Technical Complexity: Minting ordinals has become more accessible in the past months, though these options are not yet universally available across all wallets.
