Island Primary entered two teams in the annual Battle of the Books competition on May 9th. Both teams were laser focused and did an excellent job of representing their school with pride. The Book Ninjas finished strong with 237 points, while the Bookie Monsters finished with 320 points, securing first place! We are so proud of the courage and commitment shown by the students!

After coming back from the Easter break, our Year 6 cohort went on the annual visit to Little Cayman where they took part in CCMIās marine ecology course. They learned about the different types of fish and coral in and around the Cayman Islands and had the opportunity to snorkel and spot them in the wild. They really enjoyed spending time together, working as a team and doing fun activities such as beach games, board games and dorm time.
