The Church must be exemplary in her pastoral care of material assets to give testimony to the Gospel. Join us in Rome for a critical program of formation.
It has become increasingly apparent that there is a need for a managerial-administrative formation for those who will be responsible for the Church's material foods. In raising awareness of this great need, not only have future priests and the economists of individual dioceses responded, but also members of the Church hierarchy, who are ready to contribute to a solution. As Pope Francis said during his homily at the Chrism mass: "The fact that the Lord chooses, from among his flock, some who devote themselves exclusively to the care of his flock as fathers and shepherds is a great gift for our people." - Thank you to all of our priest students and alumni for your ministry and leadership!
"Personal honesty and goodwill are no excuse for incompetence, which makes corruption so much easier. I felt the need for a course in management and finances in Rome for priests, religious, and laity, which could be followed in a variety of ways, e.g., part-or full-time. One did not need to be Einstein to recognize the need, but the Pontificia Università della Santa Croce authorities took up the idea expertly and quickly.” With these words Cardinal George Pell talks about the inception of Program of Church Management - PCM in his 2020 book, "Prison Journal."

In our very own Prof. Mendoza’s words :
“The central theme of Fundraising at PCM is that fundraising is not about money but about creating personal relationships with the donors. As Henry Nouwen put it: “Fundraising is a form of ministry, it is a way of announcing our vision and inviting other people into our mission,” it truly is about allowing people to belong to a community. In this sense, fundraising has a spiritual dimension akin to “giving a sermon, entering a time of prayer, visiting the sick, or feeding the hungry,” because through it we invite others into the reality that we live not for ourselves but for one another.”
