The portion on left was used as principals office in later days. It is also reported that this was first residence of Mr Cecil Biscoe.

The difference between school and life?

Winter vacations in Valley from Dec 3: The Government has ordered that the winter vacations of the Government as well as Private recognized Educational Institutions of Kashmir Division including Winter Zones of Jammu Division for Schools upto Middle Standard shall commence from December 3, 2012 upto February 28, 2013, while High and Higher Secondary Schools shall observe winter break from December 15, 2012 upto February 28, 2013.

Did you know Mallinson Girls School was Kashmir's first educational institution dedicated solely for girls.
