fun way to learn numbers!

In this activity, students were encouraged to scribble or rainbow trace on numbers, so as to make it an enjoyable lesson for them! Teaching foundational concepts in innovative ways ensures that knowledge takes a deep rooted form in children's minds!

A splash of colours and alphabets!

In this activity, our tiny students practised their alphabets by rainbow tracing them one by one, instead of merely memorizing them. This made remembering and understanding alphabets much more fun!

A glimpse into the Sink and Float Activity!

Through this activity, children learn to explore the weight of heavy and light objects. They develop the ability to differentiate and helps understand the concept of weight, cause and effect, and conduct observations and comparisons!

Playing with puppets!

Encouraging children to play with puppets helps with their language development, socio-emotional skills, listening skills, motor skills, storytelling, sequencing, and also helps build creativity and self confidence within them!

Learning to sort through different colours and shapes!

It is essential for children to develop the ability to distinguish between various shapes, sizes and colours. Through fun activities, we at FirstCry attempt to teach our dear students how to understand the differences between objects! This helps to improve their categorization skills and cognition!

An existing combination of Storytelling, Linguistic skill based activities along with Fitness activities like Yoga and Dance to enhance Music and movement are a part of our After School Activity Sessions.

Enjoying the obstacle course!

At First Cry, we encourage kids to participate in obstacle courses as they help develop and enhance strength, balance as well as problem solving abilities!

Kids love to play with water! We have great line up of activities that will make sure they will spend nice time playing in water, floating, bursting balloons and much more. Some great enhancement of motor skills is going to happen with these games!

At FirstCry, we build life skills within children and even the smallest skill is given the right focus and attention. For example, we teach students to avoid dragging/pushing chairs or any heavier objects, and lift and carry them instead. This ensures that children remain safe and sound!

Building structures with Lego helps children understand various shapes, encourages them to be creative with their imagination, improves their hand-eye coordination and enhances their fine motor skills!

Activities that involve interacting with toys helps children understand how to treat their surroundings and belongings with care and respect. This helps them become responsible individuals while growing up!

In this activity, students were asked to show the smiley face when something made them happy and the frowning face when something made them sad. This exercise helped students improve their listening skills and association skills!

In this activity, toddlers are taught to fit various shapes to their equivalent impressions. This helps them recognize and associate similar shapes together and improves hand-eye coordination!

Fun with mask-making!

Masks help trigger children's imagination and gives them the opportunity to become something other than themselves. Masks initiate story-telling, dramatic play, which helps in socio-emotional development. Masks are also a great way to connect children with characters in different stories.

When children are introduced to puppets, it gives them a better understanding of various animals, improves their language and communication skills and also lets them explore their emotions through stories!

Tearing paper to shreds!

Letting kids tear paper to bits improves their hand

In this activity, children learn to paint with their thumbs, by dipping their thumbs in colours and making impressions on paper. This helps them get a better understanding of colours, shapes, improves hand-eye coordination and also lets them explore their creativity!

Hunting in the sand!

In this fun activity, children are asked to hunt for things in the sand. This exercises their sense of texture, sight and hand-eye coordination skills!

Understanding how to take care of toys!

At FirstCry, we intend to guide kids to understand the importance of taking care of their surroundings, being considerate and respectful, qualities that will help them grow into wonderful adults!

Today, on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami, we gave a little introduction of this cultural festival and its significance to the children. They also participated in art and craft activities related to this festival and watched the story of Lord Krishna's birth!
