Yesterday, it was a nice meeting with Mr Lakshman Seth, Chairman, ICARE (Indian Centre for Advancement of Research and Education), Haldia. Under which Engg, Medical, Law and other colleges are there with more than 10,000 students. We were requested to impart spiritual training and counselling to their students for overcoming addiction problems and help them to develop a holistic understanding towards life. Also expressed his happiness over the 60 plus students who are taking guidance from us in the youth center we are having near the college campus. We felt privileged and happy about the responsibility given to us.

Hare Krishna, we are having a scholarship contest for school students as a part of our 50th Anniversary celebrations of ISKCON conducted by ISKCON Kolkata. We had a very successful Kolkata Kids and Youth Fest 2016 event yesterday evening. More than 450 students from 30 plus schools have participated in the 5 competitions held in our Rathayatra Pandal. We had Mr. Sudarshan Bhagat, member of the Indian Parliament, and currently represents Lohardaga. He is the Minister of State for Ministry of Rural Development in the Narendra Modi government as our Cheif Guest.

Today we had a seminar on Art of Mind Control based on Bhagavad Gita for all the teachers of WWA Cossipore English School. Total 65 teachers attended and liked very much the concepts discussed on Mind,Soul and Meditation of Hare Krishna Mahamantra with their practical benefits. Some of the teachers even expressed their interest to visit our temple and know more about chanting and philosophy of Gita.
