We are happy to share that Globsyn Business School’s flagship event the International Vision Seminar held on the topic ‘Embracing AI with Humanity’ this year, and the experiential learning course ‘Boardroom Simulation' activity have been featured in the February 2024 issue of AICTE Connect.

Earlier, the B-School’s ‘Care for Society’ initiative was recognized by AICTE as a ‘Best Practice’ nationally, by approved institutions in India.

In the last couple of decades, the Information Technology sector and Social media have transformed our world at an astonishing pace. As a result of which, today, the industrial digitization scenario needs constant technical enhancements to cater to the rapid demands of the market.

Keeping this in mind, recently Globsyn Finishing School – a Globsyn Business School initiative – organized ‘Globsyn College Connect – 2024’, where various stakeholders from the technology-education industry came together to address the new industry revolution and create a synergy that drives meaningful change.

Globsyn Business School recently held its Governing Council meeting to review various decisions and initiatives taken in the past few months. Discussions were held in this meeting to decide on the way forward to maintain the B-School’s journey of staying relevant to the industry's requirements and ahead of the learning curve.

We are fortunate to have stalwarts from diverse industries and academia as part of our Governing Council – the apex decision-making body of the B-School, who give direction to the B-School and pave the path for its success.

And that’s exactly what happened yesterday at the Globsyn Business School’s Employee Town Hall Meeting, when Mr. Rahul Dasgupta, Director & Trustee, GBS, along with all the Head of Departments, addressed the employees of the B-School, and reflected upon the progression, challenges, opportunities, and learnings over the last few years. The event was made even more special as Mr. Bikram Dasgupta, Founder & Chairman, Globsyn Group, shared nostalgic anecdotes and fond memories of the B-School’s journey.

It was a day when all employees of GBS came together to discuss, celebrate, and envision a brighter future for the B-School.

Rahul Dasgupta, Director & Trustee, Globsyn Business School, interacted with students of the B-School, poised on the verge of experiencing the Summer Internship Program (SIP), and spoke to them about various aspects of a management student’s life, including the importance of the upcoming SIP.

Mr. Deb Kumar Majumder, Partner & Client Services Leader, IBM Consulting, CIC India, conducted a Corporate Connect session on ‘The future of work in an era of Exponential Technologies' for the students of Globsyn Business School. In this session, he discussed the future trends of Generative AI and how it has democratized Data Science, focusing on the requirement of upskilling of the workforce to sustain jobs.

In today’s Corporate Connect session, Mr. Anindo Majumdar, IAS (Retd.), Member – Central Administrative Tribunal, Kolkata Bench, spoke to the students on ‘Ethics in Governance', explaining the nuances of ethics in governance from both government and corporate perspectives. He also shared his diverse work experiences along with real-life examples, while discussing the concepts of gender bias, accountability, integrity, and ethical dilemma, amongst others.
