We all went to hear the sounds around us in a village or what story we think when we visit another place and we did some still photography exercises. kids took beautiful images of canals, bills, birds, winter afternoon light.

We asked our kids to express their stories through any medium. Most of them used to come with their beautiful writings. But Subham doesn't like writing. Every morning He used to come with a new image.

বিবর্ধনের যাবতীয় জটিলতা পেরিয়ে শেষ ফ্রেমটা অব্দি পৌঁছনোর ইচ্ছে নিয়েই আমরা Chotoder Bioscope এর কাছে ফিরে আসছি সাত বছর ধরে।
আজ এই বছরের ওয়ার্কশপের পঞ্চম দিন শেষ হল।
White bord এ পাঁচ নম্বর ফ্রেমটা অব্দি আমরা বাচ্চাদের বলার চেষ্টা করেছি।
শেষ ফ্রেমটা ওরা নিজেরাই এঁকে নিয়েছে।

Chotoder Bioscope reminds us of the days when we decided to do something like bioscope. Shankar da was very excited.
A lot of discussions..
Who knows if such an event would have ever been held in Barasat without Shankar da.
Who knows if the passion for making films would have been infected without Shankar da. Maybe, but it would be too late.
Shankara da was the first to conceive the idea of ​​generating something out of that field, gathering them together in one place to create a large field.

Chotoder Bioscope Workshop 2019, Snahashis and Tito(Sanjato)

ছোটদের বায়োস্কোপ বললেই ছোটদের বায়োস্কোপের মতো কিছু করার সিদ্ধান্ত নেবার দিনগুলোর কথা মনে পড়ে। শংকরদা যে কি প্রচন্ড উত্তেজিত ছিলো।
কত আলোচনা।
আলোচনা আরও প্যালা পেত শংকরদা, কৌশিক, আমি, টুঙ্কুর আড্ডা হলে, সেই তখন কাছাড়ি মাঠে বসে কত কথা।
শংকরদা না থাকলে বারাসাতে এমন ইভেন্ট কখনও করা যেত কিনা কে জানে।
শংকরদা না থাকলে ছবি তৈরীর নেশাও এমনভাবে সংক্রমিত হতো কিনা কে জানে।
হয়তো যেতো, কিন্তু অনেক দেরী করে হতো।
আমরা গুটিকয় জন বিচ্ছিন্নভাবে ছবি নিয়ে কাজ করলেও একজায়গায় জমা হয়ে একটা বৃহৎ ক্ষেত্র তৈরী করে সেই ক্ষেত্রের মধ্য দিয়ে কিছু উৎপন্ন করার ভাবনা শংকরদাই প্রথম পোষণ করে।
আর এই জড়ো হয়ে কাজ করার ফসল যে কি হয়েছিলো, তা বন্ধুরা সবাই জানে।
ছোটদের বায়োস্কোপও শংকরদার ওই আলোয় আলোকিত।
বিভিন্ন মানুষকে একজায়গায় জড়ো করাটা শংকরদার সাথে এমন ভয়ানকভাবে মিলে গেছিলো, আহা...
