Vijayadashmi or Dussehra is not only a day of mythological importance for all of us, but we all knowingly unknowingly believe that along with Ravana combustion, all the evils of our life are destroyed by burning and all the happiness will come in our life.
Nursery Children celebrating Dussehra with art activity with so much enthusiasm.
Maha Navami is also celebrated as the victory of good over evil. It is believed that on this day Goddess Durga took the form of Mahisasur Mardini to destroy Mahishaura, the demon who was terrorizing the universe.
Subho Maha astami.
The eighth day of Navratri celebrations is popularly celebrated as Durga Ashtami. This day marks the victory of Goddess Durga over Mahishasura, the demon.
Maha Saptami marks the beginning of Maha Puja of the Durga Puja. This is the day when the legendary battle between Goddess Durga and the demon king Mahishasura began.
The day, is believed, signifies arrival of Maa Durga on Earth... It is believed that Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh created Maa Durga on this day so that she can save the world from Mahisasur
We pray that Maa comes to our lives too and kill the modern day Mahishasur who lives in us in form of our anger, greed, and jealousy.
We call her Maa. Because only a mother can be strong and soft both - at the same time... We pray that Maa blesses us all with wisdom, peace, health and prosperity.
