How to get Buyer from Indian Embassy
I want to share the success story of Mr. Jitendra from Rajasthan, one of our students. After completing his export-import training, he started his own business. Following what he learned, he emailed the Indian embassy in Qatar, asking for a list of food product importers.

The embassy responded with a list of potential buyers. Jitendra emailed them one by one, and one buyer asked for more details and a quote for rice. After discussing prices, they agreed on a deal: 50% advance payment and 50% when the shipment was sent. Jitendra successfully completed the export

With the right knowledge and guidance, anyone can succeed. Learn the correct process and take action step by step

Beware of Fake Letters of Credit!

Recently, a company reached out to me for export-import consultancy. They showed me a Letter of Credit (LC) they had received after completing a service job—digitizing books for a UK company. However, when they approached their bank to claim the payment, the bank denied it, stating that the LC was not genuine.

They brought the LC to me for help, and upon review, I confirmed it was fake. The LC wasn’t issued by a bank, but rather sent via email by an agent. Remember, a real Letter of Credit is issued by the buyer’s bank and sent directly to your bank, not through agents or emails.

The lesson? Always verify LCs with your bank before starting any work. Stay cautious, and never trust an LC that doesn’t come through the right channels!

Beware of Scams on B2B Websites

Recently, I received a call from one of my YouTube channel viewers who shared a troubling story of how he was scammed by a B2B website. Here’s what happened:

It all started with a call from a B2B platform offering him membership for ₹10,000. Thinking it was a legitimate opportunity, he registered and soon received what seemed like a promising enquiry — a buyer offering a ₹1 crore order with advance payment. However, the buyer required a payment gateway for the transaction, something the person didn’t have. The B2B website conveniently offered a solution, charging ₹50,000 to provide the gateway.

After paying, the buyer requested a "trust certificate" to proceed with the deal. Once again, the B2B platform stepped in, offering to provide the certificate for ₹1 lakh. Believing this would finally close the deal, he paid.

But it didn’t stop there. The buyer kept asking for more certificates, raising red flags. That's when the person came across one of my YouTube videos and realized he was being scammed by the B2B platform. Unfortunately, he had already lost a significant amount of money.

This serves as an important reminder: always be cautious when dealing with B2B platforms. Verify their credibility, do your research, and don’t hesitate to question offers that seem too good to be true. Let’s stay informed and protect ourselves from fraud

One More Success story
Export in Small Budget
Congratulations to our student, Mr. Anil, for successfully exporting cotton fabric to the USA as an LCL consignment!

After attending our export-import training and learning the process step-by-step, Mr. Anil started marketing his products. After reaching out to several buyers, one buyer confirmed an order and even paid in advance. With the right knowledge, Mr. Anil sourced the cotton fabric from a manufacturer, packed the consignment himself at home, and exported it.

This shows that with the right practical knowledge, anyone can succeed in the export business!

How to Start Export in Small Budget

Success Story of Mr. Vivek

One of our students, Mr. Vivek, successfully exported 500 kg of cashew nuts using the LCL (Less than Container Load) method. He started his export journey on a small budget with advance payment from his buyer.

The key takeaway here is the importance of a quality product. If you have the right product, buyers will trust you with advance payments. Mr. Vivek first learned the export-import process step-by-step and began searching for buyers. Initially, he found a buyer who requested credit terms. Unsure of what to do, he consulted me. My advice: don’t work on credit, especially for your first deals.

Instead, he found a genuine buyer who paid him 50% advance and the remaining 50% before delivery. For small orders like these, securing advance payment or using a letter of credit is often easier.

Anyone can start in export-import with small quantities like LCL shipments and grow the business step-by-step.

Remember:

• Start small
• Focus on quality
• Insist on advance payment

Success usually comes to those who are too busy to be looking for it.

This quote resonates deeply in today’s fast-paced, competitive world. The road to success isn’t paved with passive waiting or wishful thinking. It’s built on hard work, commitment, and relentless focus.

When you’re immersed in the work, solving challenges, and pushing boundaries, success becomes a byproduct of your efforts. It’s not something you chase, but something that finds you along the way.

So, instead of asking when success will come, focus on what you’re building, the value you’re adding, and the impact you’re making. Success will follow.

Do you know?
How to Export LCl cargo by Sea

Exporting Less than Container Load (LCL) cargo can be an efficient way for businesses to ship smaller quantities of goods internationally without needing to book a full container. Here’s a step-by-step guide to the LCL cargo export process:

1. Cargo Packing
Proper packing is essential for safe transit. Ensure that your cargo is securely packed in sturdy boxes or crates to avoid damage during handling and shipping.

2. Labelling and Marking
Clearly label your cargo with necessary details, including shipper and consignee information, handling instructions, and any special markings required for the goods. Proper labelling ensures smooth identification and handling throughout the logistics chain.

3. Send Cargo to ICD or Port
Once the cargo is packed and labelled, it should be sent to the nearest Inland Container Depot (ICD) or directly to the port for customs processing.

4. Customs Clearance by CHA
Your Customs House Agent (CHA) will handle the customs clearance process. They will submit required documentation, pay duties (if applicable), and ensure the cargo complies with customs regulations.

5. Cargo Consolidation by CHA
In LCL export, cargo from multiple exporters is consolidated into a single container. The CHA coordinates the consolidation, ensuring that your cargo is combined with other shipments efficiently.

6. Loading and Final Dispatch
Once consolidated, the container is sealed and loaded onto the vessel for export. The CHA ensures that the loading and shipment are done as per schedule and all documentation is in place.

Exporting LCL cargo can be cost-effective and practical for smaller shipments. Follow these steps to ensure your goods are shipped safely and compliantly.
