Founded in 1994 classes are offered in a range of instruments which include flute, whistle, piano, keyboard, concertina, button and piano accordion. Students receive professional, personalised tuition in a friendly encouraging environment.
Nóra is a music lecturer in the Dept. of Creative & Performing Arts at Waterford Institute of Technology. Qualifications include a Masters in Teaching & Learning in Further & Higher Education, a Masters in Research & Performance, BA (Hons) Music, ALCM (all first class honours).

Super proud of Iona Ritchie who received an award this week for being involved in charity work in the community. Iona is a very talented student who is involved in music, dancing, singing and drama. She is a transition student at Newtown Secondary School. At Waterford CCE Iona is receiving fiddle tuition from Bridget O Connell and button accordion tuition from Nora Kavanagh. We wish her continued success and congratulate Iona on this well deserved award from the Lions Club.
