For English B this term, my students are dramatizing selected scenes from "Berry" by Langston Hughes. 🎭🎨

As part of the learning experience, we are well engaged in designing and preparing the settings for several key scenes from the short story. 🤹🖼

Congratulations to my English A and English B students on their outstanding performance in their assessments during last term!🌟🥳

As the holiday season winds down, I also close a chapter of my own — this was my final time teaching this wonderful batch of students, as I am no longer attached to Jawahir’s Koolmathz (now incorporated into West Side High) due to personal reasons.

This journey of teaching has been nothing short of fun, learning, and pure “amazing-ness.” I am truly grateful to Sir Kevon Jawahir for granting me the opportunity to be part of this experience and for trusting me with his students.

Good luck to my babies, I will miss you all! 🎉

All of this would not have been possible without God. I give praise to the Almighty for giving me the strength to deal with 47 CSEC students and other students who were from other grades; having to sit, read, correct, give feed back and guidance and help these children every week was no simple task. There were days where I felt like the letters and words were dancing across the paper, days where every spare chance I had, I was either reading and correcting summaries or fixing narrative and argumentative essays. All of this was not in vain, these are excellent results from my students who are from the various public schools and joined this lessons.
To the parents, thank you for letting me be a part of your child educational journey! To my students, English is our mother tongue, never stop improving it!
