Simon A. Sanchez High School

Please be advised that GDOE schools will remain closed on Monday and will continue to be closed until further notice due to ongoing health, safety, and operational concerns at several campuses.
At this time, some schools are experiencing no power, no water, low water pressure, and power fluctuations. Additionally, drinking water has not yet been deemed safe for students and requires further assessment.
Further concerns include the need for mold mitigation and safety assessments, as well as the fact that cafeteria food preparation areas are not yet ready for service.
Due to these factors, schools will remain closed until conditions are fully addressed and campuses are cleared for reopening.
All faculty and staff are to report to work during normal working hours.
Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
