You could send a lifetime in Anilao, Philippines diving and never get tired of it. The marine life there was amazing, and none as awesome to watch as the pygmy seahorse. We found this little guy on our last dive at Crystal Blue Resort.

The family and I have been traveling for the last four weeks and have had an amazing time seeing the Australian Country side. Places like Melbourne, The Great Ocean Road, Cap Ottway, and Adelaide just to name a few.

Our last diving location in Australia was the Edithburgh Jetty. This is a must do dive site for any macro diver. Our main intention was to come this far south to get a glimpse of the leafy sea dragon, but as with most wild animals it is never a for sure thing you will see them. So this time we stroke out but that leaves the door open for future trips this way. So for now the elusive dragon will stay on our bucket list of amazing underwater creatures we would like to see!

Even though we missed out on the dragons this site did not disappoint. We were fortunate enough to see numerous nudi's, crabs and even the very cool striped pyjama squid.

Lastly we finally saw our first blue-ringed octopuses (Melissa was very disappointed in its size...lol). It was very humbling to view such a small animal that packs a huge punch. These little guys despite its small size, carries enough venom to kill twenty-six adult humans within minutes. Just amazing!!

What a trip!!

The girls and I were able to do a 4 day liveaboard on the Great Barrier Reef, aboard the Spirit of Freedom.

We visiting over 10 different dive sites and saw so much (more pics to follow). The trip concluded with a visit to the world famous Cod Hole, just off Lizard island.

Anemonefish.

These fish will attached their eggs to a nearby rock, and they must tend to them none stop.

Fun Fact: A clownfish (Anemonefish) is born male and has the ability to change into a female. This can happen when the dominant female dies, the dominant male will turn into a female and then choose to mate with another male in the group. However, once they change they cannot turn back

OMG!!!!! As my daughter would say!!! Anilao Philippines has been amazing. The colors, coral and biodiversity here is just fantastic!

Flamboyant Cuttlefish (Metasepia pfefferi) has been on my bucket list from the first day I started shooting underwater. Just awesome to watch this little guy move!
