An awesome job to the Tiyan High Titans from Mr. Kerber’s class for presenting their knowledge of Guam’s freshwater resources on October 9, 2019! 👏🏼

The Titans showcased a working model of the Northern Guam Lens Aquifer which put into action the Water Cycle with local Mariana limestone, a groundwater lens, observation and production wells, and explored lens and well contamination from surface pollution (adapted from the National Groundwater Foundation).

52 fifth grade P.C. Lujan Satellites became Guam Water Kids ambassadors!

Many thanks to the Tiyan High School, P.C. Lujan Elementary School, and Guam Department of Education administrations for the amazing collaboration. 💧

Update: Tree Planting event has been postponed.

18/08/2019

Håfa adai everyone and Happy Sunday! Volunteers needed for tree planting in southern Guam (see announcement). Tree root networks hold loose soil, thus reducing erosion and lowering sediment loading into our freshwater rivers and ocean.

Lend a hand if you can 🧤
