Children under 5 years of age are FREE. A Waiver of Liability will need to be signed. SEEDLINGS can be purchased and range from $5.00 to $15.00 per seedling. All fees are used towards maintenance of Amot Farm.

Åmot Farm is a native medicinal farm located in the northern village of Dededo on the island of Guam. Currently, it is operated under Amot Para Taotao-tano Farm, a non-profit cultural organization that was established December 2013. The farm's main caretaker, Farm President is a Chamorro Traditional Healer (Suruhana) Bernice Tudela Nelson. In August 2010 with the help of her husband George Nelson, a retired Navy Veteran, Suruhana Nelson began a small humble medicinal garden for her needs as a traditional healer. Today, this personal garden is 2 1/2 acres with over 200 medicinal plants in inventory. The beauty of the farm and the existence of medicinal native plants have brought hundreds of Guam residents to the farm to learn more about the traditional art of Chamorro healing. This knowledge of traditional healing was passed on to Suruhana Nelson at the young age of 10 by her aunt Maria R. Sablan, a known Suruhana that has passed on. Suruhana Nelson has been practicing the traditional art of healing for over 50 years. In addition to native medicinal plants from Guam, native medicinal plants from other parts of the world - China, Philippines, Japan, U.S.A., Phonpei, and Palau can be found at the Amot Farm. Every plant is identified by its Local and English Name and its medicinal benefits.
