LIFE IS NOT FAIR

Life is a battleground not a playground. From birth to death a man life is usually plagued with a lot of challenges. You should not expect life to be a walk in the park. Challenges are not unusual, there are common but for us who are in Christ our victory is guaranteed no matter the size or type of challenge we might encounter as a wise man once said “It is not unscriptural to be challenged but it is unscriptural to be defeated. Life is tough but shouldn’t be and excuse to give up in life. When you are confronted remember that no temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. (1 Cor 10:13)

A close look at the patriarchs in scriptures will reveal that their lives were full of challenges but none was big enough to stop them from achieving outstanding. An example here is the life of Joseph who overcame the waterless pit, Potiphar’s wife, the prison and finally became the prime minister of Egypt. His challenges became his stepping stones to victory.

To conclude, our challenges usually contain in them an opportunity for our elevation. As we see in the case of Joseph. He was confronted with a lot difficult situations, with his faith in God he kept his joy and confronted the challenges courageously, and it is clear that these led to his enthronement. A victor’s mindset like Joseph is an asset. It is important for us not to consider ourselves as victims in the midst of difficulties. With our faith in place, every situation will bow to the power of God at work through us.

TODAY IS THE OPPORTUNITY YOU HAVE TO BUILD THE TOMORROW YOU WANT.

Today is the tomorrow you prepared for yesterday. Today is a gift. It grants you the opportunity to do something that will you tomorrow better.

If you fail to sieze the opportunity that today presents to build the foundation for the tomorrow you desire, you might end up with an empty tomorrow and heart full of regrets. The psalmist said "If the foundation is destroyed what can the righteous do" (Ps 11:3)

What that means is without a good foundation in place there nothing you can do. And you are guaranteed to have an empty tomorrow.

So take advantage of today to build for tomorrow. Remember any action you take today is a vote to who you want to become tomorrow.
