Today this fellows held a cleaning exercise at the now school of the blind in Brikama founded by Alieu Jaiteh a visually impaired.
We are proud that after three years our fellows are making marks on the lives of others.

This is our Sheick Omar Sillah.
Sheick Omar is currently working with the Risk Communication and Community Engagement Team of the Ministry of Health of the Gambia.
Recently, he has become a popular face on TV and Facebook in the fight against COVID–19 in the Gambia.
Sheick Omar is one of few Gambians who have witnessed the start of the CORONAVIRUS in Wuhan and currently in the Gambia to help contain the virus. He was in Wuhan, China in mid 2019 pursuing a masters degree in one of the best medical school in Wuhan, China before the start of the virus.
"I am glad, I am back home helping my country battle the virus" shared SG Sillah ina radio interview with Soma FM.
We could not be more prouder seeing our founder take lead in the fight against the invisible enemy.

This pictures are an incredible ones taken to speak strongly how much we as an initiative value the role of gender.
For us it is not only celebrating women But feeling proud that women are taking their spaces without fear and compromise.
At the last year one of the girls said, "We don't hate men. We don't want them to treat us unfairly".

Update: The ERL Program coordinating team has start a two days monitoring and evaluation tour around the country to see what ERL2019 Fellows are doing in their schools and communities to change the status quo.
Muhammed Kanyi the President of the US Exchange Program in the Gambia accompanied by Satang Dumbuya and Basiru Sanneh met with ERL Fellows in LRR.
During the session the students had the opportunity to share some of the activities they embarked on in their schools and communities like tree planting, leadership training, awareness creation on disability rights and many others.
Currently, there are also other teams in other regions doing similar monitoring and evaluation.
