The Hidden Mind
Right to education and infrastructure they said
But that was just a mere utterance
Right to access health and freedom of speech they said
But that was just a mere utterance
How could a nation be developed
When prioritization was your breadbasket
How can you call yourself a leader
When you’ve no clue about market price
How could you base your projects at your base
But not tending the base of others on the same page
When their base is under your authority
But yet you claim to be working at their interest
Plans are crafted based on your interest
No matter how hard it’s for people
As far as you’re living a luxurious life
There’s no option B
They are so eloquent that
Falsehood can walk with truth in making rulings
Because they are no more like they used to be
And yet you still claim to be just
Ooh my people!
Know who I’m before concluding
Surrendering your life to me
Can’t just be a mere knowing of my background
Am I competent enough
Not my eloquence
Am I handsome at heart
Not my looks
Don’t be carried by my race
Because I’m going to tell you what to eat next day
Don’t be carried by my physicality
Because I’m going to punch you next day
The Almighty chooses our relatives
The Almighty chooses our parents
We might not understand the wisdom behind it
So choose wisely who’s going to represent you
