[03/07/16]   Help Educate The African Child (HETAC) is a Non - Governmental Organization (NGO) that seeks to support children in very remote villages with the necessary requirements for their education.

This Project is in phases. As we grow in capacity, we climb from one phase to the next one.

PHASE ONE
In this phase, our aim is to help school children in very remote villages with relevant and required learning materials. Text books, exercise books, notebooks, pens, pencils, rulers, erasers and so on.

STRATEGY
1. We shall go to as many private and public schools as possible in the cities and big towns to negotiate with proprietors, head masters / mistresses for used text books from their general student body.

2. We shall move to solicit for funds from, individuals, groups, societies, organizations, companies and so on. These funds are going to be used to purchase brand new learning materials which will be used to augment the used ones.

PHASE TWO
The second phase includes everything we do in phase one. However, we go a step further to recruit volunteers to teach in our beneficiary schools during the long vacations.

PHASE THREE
Third phase includes everything in phase one and two. It also takes us a step further to establish a scholarship scheme to take care of the educational needs of brilliant but needy children through higher levels of education.

✨Brothers and Sisters, we are doing this because of the passion we have for brilliant kids in the remote villages. This project would demand a lot of work and sacrifices from us. However, we cannot give up because our efforts have the tendency of transforming the life of somebody, giving hope to the hopeless and giving help to the helpless. Our reward awaits us someday.

HETAC - for God and country.
