Fukuoka the focus for 2023 World Championship team

Fukuoka the focus for 2023 World Championship team British Swimming have selected a 29-strong team that will take to the pool at the World Aquatics Championships in Fukuoka, Japan this summer, one year out from the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Whilst closed for our Easter break, the site team have been extremely busy completing essential maintenance works plus a deep clean ahead of our summer swimming!
Lessons resume Saturday 15 April for our Stanley 4 and above swimmers 🐠🐟🐡🐙

Please take extra care near unsupervised waters outdoors this holiday. Sadly, the recent tragedies have highlighted how dangerous water can be.
As a centre we will continue to think of those young lives lost and their families over the holiday period. Give those you love an extra hug this Christmas and let’s all be grateful for this precious time we get to share with loved ones 💙

We notice big progressions in play week, from water confidence to improved stamina.✔️
