The JAM team are so excited to be back this week… here’s who’s who!

💜 STACEY (aka the Boss 😉) - Stacey is normally the first face you’ll see when you walk though the JAM doors; here to answer any questions, welcome you to JAM and make sure you have the best time ever! Also teaching our Friday Seniors and Friday J1, she a busy gal!
🧡 HARRIET (The OG JAM teacher) - She been here from day 1 and I don’t think we’re ever getting rid of her! Harriet is teaching our Friday Seniors and J2 MT groups this term. You can also find her on a Monday teaching the JAM Dance Academy.
💛 KACEY (Kacey or Mini Stacey?!) Kacey is EVERYWHERE at JAM. She teaches our Friday Jammy Dodgers, Friday J1 MT, Saturday Juniors 1 and 2 MT AND she is also one of our fabulous JAM Dance Academy teachers. Get this girl a rest!
💚 LARA (The TikTok Queen!) If you haven’t checked out our JAM TikTok - you need to! Watch out guys, you will be grabbed for a video when you least expect it! Lara is also teaching out Friday LAMDA and Saturday J1 and 2 Drama!
💙 CLAUDIA (Our Yogi Bear 🧘‍♀️) Claudia is THE LOVELIEST. Our students love Claudia and her calming presence. She is teaching our Friday J1 and J2 and Saturday LAMDA this term - we’re so lucky to have her back this term!
❤️ LEAH (Our LAMDA acting mastermind) Often mistaken for one of our students (she’s so tiny!), Leah is our go to LAMDA acting teacher. Her knowledge and experience are invaluable when it comes to these 1:1 coaching sessions. And she’s also teaching our Friday J1 drama this term too!
🤍 CHLOE (Best Assistant Ever #1) Past JAM student turned JAM assistant. Chloe is fab! You can find her working with our Friday and Saturday Jammy Dodgers, Friday J1 and all of our Saturday groups!
💖 MOLLIE (Best Assistant Ever #2) Another JAM student turned JAM assistant. Mollie is amazing! She’ll also be here on a Friday working with our J1 mini group and on a Saturday too!!

Kacey teaches our Mini Movers, Ballet and Tap and Jazz and MT classes, and Harriet teachers our Jazz Technique and MT for ages 7 - 16 and our Adult Open class!

So thrilled to say that The Wrottesley Arms have raised a brilliant £305 to go towards our dance mirrors! Thank you so so much! 🩷🧡

The raffle was a huuuuuuuge success and we raised £305 for JAM Youth Theatre. So happy and they are going to be over the moon with that. Thank you to everyone who had a go on the raffle, played our little games and donated to the tea and coffee station where all of the money has gone to them. ☺️

Seniors it’s over to you!

Next term our Friday Seniors group are going to be starting rehearsals for… “13: The Musical” ✨

Another first for us at JAM as our Seniors prepare to take to the stage for their very own show which is going to be performed on Friday 31st January and Saturday 1st Feb 2025 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻

If you know anyone aged between 12 - 18 who loves to sing, dance or act… we want to hear from them!!! Share away… this is not a show to be missed!

⭐️ What’s Going On Next Term ⭐️

This is very exciting and a first for us at JAM…

Jammy Dodgers and Juniors are teaming up next term to put on a showstopper of a performance as they take you on a journey from ‘WestEnd To Broadway’ ✨

They will be acting, dancing and singing numbers from popular musical theatre shows such as THE LION KING, HAMILTON, THE LITTLE MERMAID and sooo many more.

We can’t wait!

2022 was HUGE!!

🧡Our students spent their weekly rehearsals getting ready to take a stroll down that Yellow Brick Road as we rehearsed for ‘The Wiz’
💛 We ran Easter and Summer workshops - which both sold out!
💚AND… in the September JAM Youth Theatre opened its second school in Codsall and we welcomed loads more students into our JAM fam 😁

With double the students came double the fun!! I wonder what 2023 had in store for us…

⭐️Last Friday and Saturday, the extremely talented cast of Oliver Jr took to the stage and wowed each and every audience!! I was lost for words after every performance, so lost for words that it’s taken me this long to post about it! 🤩⭐️

These photos show just a glimpse of our performances and I’m so so proud of every single student, teacher, assistant and backstage superstar!

⭐️At the beginning of 2021, we were still trapped in Zoomland (we actually did an online performance called ‘Zoomland’!), but as April rolled around we were let out and we finally got to meet our students face to face again!

2021 was an amazing year for JAM Youth Theatre. We put on some absolutely brilliant performances including the Jammy Dodgers performance of Hansel and Gretel and the Juniors and Seniors performance of Peter Pan. 🧚‍♂️

2021 was too good, I couldn’t just pick one photo! There are definitely some faces you will recognise in this picture 😜

Belle has flourished this year at JAM. Her Saturday School teachers have all been singing her praises for weeks and so I just had to let you know how amaing she is!
Belle is hardworking, focused, a team leader, positive, smiley, mature, talented… I could go on! She has really shone during Oliver rehersals by always turning up ready to work, practising at home to make sure she is confident with her lines and songs and helping other students to rehearse during sessions.
All that hardwork paid off as she has been chosen by Kacey as our Saturday School Dance Captain. Go Belle 💫

I love this picture! Not because I loved Zoom - I did not, I’m still having flashbacks - but because it shows the enthusiasm, drive and passion that all of these students had for JAM and the performing arts. When faced with a decision to either stop JAM or move to Zoom, 100% of our students stuck with us and came along for the ride!

When Covid struck, JAM had only been open one term and I’ll be the first to admit that I was worried that it wouldn’t hold up. How wrong was I!? Not only did we retain ALL of our current students but we even gained a load along the way… Now, not many businesses can say that!

It’s that JAM magic again 💫

⭐️ Student Appreciation Post ⭐️

Oren’s journey at JAM Youth Theatre actually started on Zoom! (Do you remember Zoom?!) Oren was keen to start with us but as lockdown had other ideas, we moved to Zoom and Oren did his first JAM session over a screen. But it was obviously meant to be, as he is still with us now and is actually one of our Senior students!

This year we have seen a HUGE transformation in Oren (and it’s not just the hair do - if you know, you know!). He is more energetic than ever, enthusiastic about all aspects of his training, taking on bigger and bigger roles and his maturity is starting to shine through. He is playing Bill in our upcoming Oliver Jr production and each week we are so impressed with his acting talents.

We’re very proud of Oren and can’t wait to see where JAM takes him next! 💫
