End of Semester 1 and thus teaching (for now) this week. I'll miss the place and (some of!) the students but really need to get back to the 'day job' which has been waving at me from a corner for weeks now. Don't worry, I'll be there soon...

I'm still here...honestly! It's been insanely busy in the 'day job' (lecturing) for the past few weeks, but we're coming to the end of the semester so normal service should resume soon. And returning with fresh eyes and energy!! :O)

Despite the hope for 'normal' it's been a really tough week - the toughest so far - with demands from all quarters and a knock to personal self-confidence. Hard truth is I need to get back on track this week, whatever happens. :O(

Back to normal this coming week, and after completing the initial course structures and collating resources for them I'll be identifying appropriate 'follow-on' courses and developing them over the coming month. Also lots of secret 'back office' stuff going on... ;O)

Plenty of 'too-ing and fro-ing' in store this week, working between the office and home as the children are off for the week and requiring 'taxi services'!! As part of my diverse career path I once worked for a taxi company so this takes me right back. :O)

Busy week ahead, but although I achieved lots today more domestic issues are due to take over as the week goes on - parent's evening, hair appointment, shopping... Years of 'work-life balance' overly focused on work now rebalancing itself!! ;O)
