To help raise awareness of the issue, the council has signed up to be a Friends Against Scams (FAS) organisation.
If you think that you have received scam mail and you are a UK resident you can find out how to send it for investigation, free of charge, by visiting www.FriendsAgainstScams.org.uk/Scamnesty

Wolverhampton’s NEW Flo text messaging service:-
From Monday 14th September 2020, Wolverhampton’s pregnant women and new mothers will be able to receive informative and motivational text messages, when they sign up to a free text message service known as ‘Flo’.
Funded by NHS England/Improvement as part of The Black Country and West Birmingham Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS), the ‘Flo’ message service will send regular helpful and supportive tips, videos and messages before and after baby arrives, on topics such as relationship building, what to expect, feeding your baby and safer sleep, by text to a mobile phone.
The friendly and reassuring texts are designed to arrive throughout pregnancy from 28 weeks until baby arrives.
After baby is born, by texting Flo with ‘BIRTHDAY’ and baby’s date of birth, Flo will then continue to send useful informative texts to help new mothers also.
Flo is interactive too - if women need further help with feeding a baby they can text Flo, to receive a message with details of how to access the support and information they need.
To find out how to sign up to Flo for free, pregnant women or new mothers just need to speak to their midwife, or visit The Trust’s “Breastfeeding Support” webpage via https://www.royalwolverhampton.nhs.uk/services/service-directory-a-z/infant-feeding/breastfeeding-support/
