Welcome to Limes Court Nursery, family owned and situated in the heart of Tettenhall Village.
Operating as usual

We are looking for committed, early years level 3 practitioners to join our wonderful team. Due to the growth of our nursery, we have two fabulous positions available.
For more information please email [email protected]

Well today brought a new level of ‘Christmas magic’.
Some of our pre-schoolers went on a singing adventure, visiting the library, local shops and cafes and entertaining the streets of Tettenhall village.
We were so proud of their confidence, behaviour and willingness to perform in front of crowds.
We even made a few people shed a tear of joy.
Thank you for enjoying and appreciating the children (and staff) efforts.
Limes Court Nursery, you are special 🎄🥰

Petition: Increase funding for early years settings
Please help save the Early Years Sector 🙏🏻
https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/628412?fbclid=IwAR29utL1PrcgiT0m-4p4a4IhJY_VFE6DH_u09jQmhodXiNgPHSKmmfIlMQY
Petition: Increase funding for early years settings We believe Government funding for early years settings is too low, and making it difficult to keep these settings open. This will only be more difficult with the increase in minimum wage. Everyone wants childcare standards high, but we believe more funding is needed to achieve this.

What a team 🎄

Proud sponsors of girls under 9’s football team 🙌🏻

That time of year is nearly upon us where settings produce a bulk load of adult led (mainly adult produced) Christmas cards and gifts … Noooooo not us, as we will SET their little hands free and what ever will be will be.

It’s new Piano day 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
A picture is worth a thousand words 🙌🏻

Autumn brings so many wonderful learning opportunities.
Our children have been out and about; therefore giving opportunities to look, collect, listen, question, follow instructions, discuss, and challenge.
Their behaviour was impeccable, their language rich and curious and their ability to take responsibility, share and make choices was outstanding.
We have some wonderful natural resources to add to our provision. Let’s see how the children continue this journey⭐️
Let’s not forget all the other aspects that have been explored today such as road safety, stranger danger, littering …. Endless!

We love an inspirational quote 🥰

So that’s a summer wrap!
From a year of fun, laughter, learning, curiosity, care and passion from all.
From news letters, news feeds and wonderful parent observations, and shared experiences.
From parent reviews and heartfelt feedback, to parent and leaver celebration picnics.
From show rounds to new starters, to fully settled children and families.
From transitions room to room and nursery to school, and new key worker relationships.
We thank you for a wonderful journey so far.
We are going to miss our leaving Limes, and wish them well on their school journey. 🥲🥲🥲
Next week we welcome new members of the team both staff and children.
Let the Limes journey continue.

What a beautiful day for our preschool leavers celebration picnic. Together we’ve laughed and cried and what a wonderful relationship we’ve build. We are so proud of our leavers and what they’ve achieved and wish them well as they venture on to their school settings.
A final farewell is always so hard and we are going to miss our senior Limes children and families so much.
You will all be in our hearts and memories but we do expect a little visit now and then.
Go and show the world what you’ve got 🥰🥰🥰🥰

The beauty of the Early years is having the scope to allow children to discover, challenge, choose, transport, experiment and direct.

Oh so curious…… wonderful!

Children (even when tiny) can follow little rituals when guided and supported.
Making snack time social, steady, calm and enjoyable creates a wonderful, engaged and beautifully purposeful moment in a day 😌 and let’s not forget the power of choice!
And we are off The Curiosity Approach

Our little nod (and curtsey of course) to Our Majesty The Queen, to celebrate her Jubilee.
Our children have not yet experienced such an event, so we have provided a bite sized introduction with provocations and invitations to learning and play to spark curiosity and interest.
Let’s see where the next few days takes them.
We look forward to celebrating and building on our children’s experiences ‘after the event’ when we can really support them to make links🇬🇧
Happy long bank holiday to all and enjoy your family time ##

Baby 🥰

Parent partnerships are fundamental in supporting children and building a solid foundation for learning and development.

Summer 1 we are ready! ❤️

I cannot believe our first intake of babies are beginning to transition into toddler room! They are showing such self regulation, confidence, readiness, and an abundance of skills that will help them step onto the next stage of life’s ladder. Our staff work so collaboratively to ensure transitions are smooth and effective.

Reflecting on today!
Do we use open ended resources with no pre-determined limitations ?
Do we promote imagination and creativity?
Do we allow children to transport resources from area to area?
Do we allow for children to build on prior experience?
Do we promote positive relationships?
Do we take a child’s interests and let them run with it?
Do we stretch the inquisitive little mind?
Do we? ☺️

Just look at those beautiful marks 🖋🖋

Sand!
And the cutest capture of happiness😊

Today……
Old photo slides have captured imagination, promoted curiosity and encouraged total engagement.
We talk about enquiry based play; it’s right there!
Enriched language development, questioning, discovery, challenge, trial, error, interest, inquisitiveness, control.
The children are investigating, querying, thinking, changing, choosing, experimenting, questioning.
