Uuuugh....hubby and I are huge fans of Chef Gordon Ramsay but we'll never be able to do something like this 😔 I wish there was something like ...he travels to every state teaching or having classes once in awhile lol. Going over seas isn't an option for us either sadly (we live in Michigan).

At the Academy we have over 100 different classes for you to choose from. Whether you're looking to sharpen your knife skills, delve into a certain cuisine or just have some fun in the kitchen, we've got something for everyone.

Operating as usual


It's ! Who's celebrating with a Whisky sour tonight?

Ice cubes
100ml whisky
40ml lemon juice
2-3 tsp honey (depending on how sweet you like your cocktails – it is meant to be a sour!)
1 egg white
5-6 dashes of Angostura bitters, or to taste

1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice then pour in all the ingredients.
2. Secure the lid and shake vigorously – at least 10-20 seconds or longer for a frothy finish.
3. Strain into serving classes filled with more ice and garnish with a little more Angostura bitters if you like.


doesn’t need to be complicated but it does need to be delicious.

250ml white wine
1 shallot, roughly chopped
500ml chicken or beef stock
1 bay leaf
1 tsp black peppercorns
Sprig of thyme
1 tbsp redcurrant jelly

1. Pour the white wine into a pan and bring to a simmer over a medium heat. Allow it to reduce by half, which may take 5-10 minutes.
2. Add the stock, shallot, bay leaf, peppercorns and thyme and bring to a simmer.
3. Stir in the redcurrant jelly and cook until it becomes thick and glossy, stirring every so often (about 15-20 minutes).
4. Strain through a sieve and serve hot.

5 garlic cloves, left whole with skins on (about half a large bulb)
Few sprigs of thyme
1 tbsp olive oil
Sea salt and black pepper
500g parsnips, peeled and roughly chopped
2 tsp Dijon mustard
30g unsalted butter
20ml double cream
Nutmeg, to grate

1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan/Gas 6.
2. Lay a square of tin foil out in front of you. Put the garlic and thyme in the middle, drizzle over the oil and season.
3. Wrap up like a parcel and roast for 30 minutes.
4. Bring a pan of salted water to the boil and add your parsnips, cook for 10-12 minutes or until soft. Drain well then add to a blender.
5. Squeeze the roasted garlic from its skins then add to the blender with the mustard, butter and cream.
6. Grate in some fresh nutmeg then blitz until smooth and creamy.
7. Top with more grated nutmeg to serve.
