The World Health Organisation recognises on 10 October every year.

🌎The theme of this year's World Mental Health Day, set by the World Federation for Mental Health, is 'Mental health in an unequal world'.

👉🏻Research from has shown that some of the people struggling the most are those who were already facing considerable challenges – people with long term health conditions, or facing discrimination, or parenting on their own.

💚 World Mental Health Day is also a chance to talk about mental health in general, how we need to look after it, and how important it is to talk about things and get help if you are struggling.

We are taking part in the Early Years Well-being week listening to the amazing words of Kate Moxley. She rightly says "Early years wellbeing week, is about increasing the mental health literacy of our workforce and striving for zero stigma around mental health to safeguard the health and wellbeing of our educators of the present and the future.

❤Early Years Wellbeing Week 2021 ❤

This Is Me 🙋🏻‍♀️

The heart of Wellbeing is simply about inclusion and belonging. It’s about connection and cultivating a community of care not just for children and families but starting with staff. We have to take care of ourselves passionately and proactively so that we can do the day job that we love.

So this week we are celebrating the fabulous staff of Home From Home Nursery after a challenging 18 months + they have risen and adapted to every challange and kept the nursery a safe, loving and inviting environment for all children that attend.

Thank you Team 👏🌈

Following the governments announcement regarding lifting restrictions on 19th July, we want to clarify what will and won’t be changing. Rest assured that yours and your child's safety and enjoyment while at nursery will still be our top priorities. We will review this ready for September in line with schools and term time settings returning and any further government advice released. 😊
