We'll be offering free tasters for our All Star Tennis & Swim programs over both weekends. Tennis tasters will run across Saturday & Sunday and is bookable by age. Swim will run on Sundays and is bookable by age/ability.

On Sunday may 1st we will be running an exciting new tournament to celebrate David Lloyds new partnership with Head! 🥳 🎾
The tournament is going on all over the country with the national winner being flown out and having the opportunity to visit the Head factory in Austria to create their own tennis racquet! 🤩
Matches are only 10 point tiebreaks - short & sweet games where anything can happen! 🐝

The Blaze Community Games Heats kick off next weekend 🐝🥊

The top 10 teams across the country will be entered into the Grand Final at our Blaze Studio in Birmingham on 11th June 🤩
Finalist will stay at Hotel Du Van or Mal Maison the night before including breakfast curtesy of DL 😍

The Rear Round Kick
Lets break down this move & take a look at the sequence:
Step 1: Turn out the lead foot, this external rotation opens up the lead hip & creates space for the kick.
Step 2: Raise the rear leg leading with the knee
Step 3: Drive the rear arm back to help generate more rotational power from the hips whilst extending the rear leg to strike the side of your opponent.
- Key focus is to contact with the lower FRONT section of your shin & NOT the inside (to keep your knees safe)
Start slow & controlled to establish the correct technique.
Gradually add speed when you have mastered the move.
Finally add full power when you are ready to do so🔥

Starting at 8am Monday 28th February we're aiming to keep the pedals turning for 24 hours right through to 8am Tuesday 1st March, accumulating as many miles and donations as possible! 🚴🏽♂️
We need your help to make that happen! Pre-book your 15+ minute slot at reception or jump on one of our hop on/hop off bikes on the day.
Every mile counts so we will also be running an extra charity Group Cycle class with our red haired rocket @lioness_that_lifts at 7.15pm Monday 28th February! She'll be designing a class to get you travelling as many miles as possible! Followed by a complimentary smoothie and protein samples. Donate and book via reception now! We're aiming to raise £100,000 in 2022 for our coffee supplier @changeplease ; a non-profit organisation dedicated to helping the homeless in the UK. We will be hosting a series of events to raise money, along with the other South Region David Lloyd Clubs.
