Our Silver Swan’s and Adult Ballet ballet classes had fun yesterday with a “Pointe Shoe Decorating Day”. We all had different ideas and created some brilliant designs! Lunch was wonderful, the Pavlova amazing and we had a fun day in Jan’s barn 🩰💕🩰💕

My amazing group of Discovering Rep, Level 3 ladies. We learnt the entire syllabus online over the last year, and have only had 6 lessons in person since March 20, they couldn’t wait any longer, so we did a class in the park 🌳 it was fantastic - we even had a barre!! There is no holding them back any longer, exam asap 🩰🩰🩰 I am so proud of them all 💕

We just wanted to show off some of the lovely Dance Craft creations that we were sent after half term. Thank you for sending in your photos, and we can't wait to see you face to face after Easter. It will be lovely to dance together very soon! 🩰🩰🩰

We would love to see your imagination on creating a dance creation this week during half term. This could be a drawing of you at ballet, a costume design for your favourite dancer, a poem about your ballet class, a story, making up and videoing a dance, or a craft. We have given you some ideas here. We look forward to seeing all you ideas 🩰 💃🏻 Post to Facebook, or email direct to us. We will be sending out some prizes next week!

Pirbright Ballet School outing to the Royal Opera House to see The Royal Ballet triple bill, Adult Ballet, Silver Swans, Discovering Repertoire and Duke of Edinburgh students all went tonight and enjoyed a fantastic evening 💞

Miss Marshall got a new pair of pointe shoes so that she can dance in the pointe classes!!

Well done to my first group of adults to take their first exam in the new Discovering Repertoire syllabus. I am very proud of you all! Classes are on Friday evenings, come and join us if you’d like to get back into ballet.

Great Silver Swans and Adult Ballet Class trip to the Ballet, the triple bill was fantastic and something for everyone to enjoy!

Silver Swans ballet classes for adults over 55 have started again for the Autumn Term, come and join us for a class if you have never danced before, or have in the past, Monday 11-12 or Wednesday 4.30-5.30, no experience needed. Or for more advanced adults of any age, Wednesday 10-11.30.

This is “Betty Ballerina” she is the latest recruit to our Tuesday Pre-Ballet class, she will be going home with one pupil each week 💕

Thank you so much to everyone for beautiful flowers, wine and gifts at the end of term. But especially to Ros Milbourn, Hannah Ryley and Katie for your very special goodbye gifts. This year I also received 2 messages from Mum’s both of which left me in tears, thank you Jenny and Shelly 💞 This is always such a sad time to say goodbye to dancers, some whom I’ve taught since they were 2 and 4, so 16 years! I have been so privileged to have been able to teach you all and look forward to hearing about your future achievements. You are always welcome to come and join us for a class in the holidays.
