Half term is almost over. Doing a lot of planning for the rest of this term.
Received new material for my pupils and more to arrive! Starting exciting series of theory books from How to Blitz by Samantha Coats.

My lovely pupil is showing excellent skills playing in parallel motions confidently and with good piano techniques. Her wrists are soft but fingertips nice and strong, exactly what we aim for! Well done Amelie for completing Unit 4 in Piano Safari. 🎉

This term I've welcomed new pupils in my studio!🎉
It's always very exciting to teach my little begginers. They are like little sponges absorbing every sound and movement we make during the lessons. We sing, we move in time with the beat, we discover what is Pulse & Rhythm, we make our first sounds So & MI.
Here is the video of my new beginner after her third lesson and she is beautifully singing in tune and showing the pulse.

I love my Christmas tree by the piano. It sets the magical atmosphere during lesson.
This week we have been playing christmas duets, doing loads of "snow balls solfa" games, improvising, learning new rhythms, playing bells and more fun activities.
One more week to go until the Christmas break, let's make next week extra magical and fun!! 🎉

Pumpkin - pumpkin game was a real hit today. We played the game and discovered new rhythm and don't forget the sweet treats after!

Birthday present from my lovely pupil!🎉🎉🎉 We are playing and singing well known song from my childhood. It's brought up all the sweetest memories of my very happy childhood. This song has a little bit of sadness as the birthday is only once a year.

We have completed PianoForte Level 1 with my 6 years old pupil. This Method is a Solfa based method. We are playing 'Wise Owl' song in Canon which is very advance skill. I am very proud of my little pupil! Moving on to the Level 2!! 🎊🎉🎊

Love playing duets with my pupils! It's really great skill to develope right from the beginning.

Beginning of the week can be unpredictable. Children usually busy with their activities on weekend and Monday is a tricky day for a piano lesson but I had an amazing day yesterday! All my children practised so well and it made my afternoon super enjoyable!! Well done and keep going.🎉👏
Also want to share this lovely video where my pupil is showing an excellent piano techniques. Safari Friends is a celebration of 7 piano techniques which were learnt thoughout Level 1. Very proud of Lara for memorising such a long piece!!! Well done!!
