I want to say the biggest THANK YOU to the wonderful people of Bisley for helping make Joan’s 102nd birthday at Elmfield House so wonderful.
My appeal for birthday cards exceeded expectations and she received over 250 cards 😃
Helen Francis and Gasper paid a visit with Gasper dressed for the occasion in his party hat and birthday banners 💕
And the cards, cakes, gifts, flowers and balloons from strangers made her day.
Joan blew out her candles and when I asked her to make a wish she said that she couldn’t possibly wish for anything more and we all melted.
She even received a letter of congratulations and beautiful bouquet of flowers from Surrey Heath mayor Sarah.
Acts of kindness really do have a profound effect on others. We are overwhelmed and truly grateful
