As we continue to mourn HM Queen Elizabeth II:
A special Commemoration Service will take place at Holy Trinity on Sunday 18 September at 6pm.
You are invited to watch the broadcast of the state funeral with others at Holy Trinity on Monday 19 September from 9:30am. A range of seating and refreshments will be available.
Our books of condolence will be available until Tuesday 20 September, together with candles that can be lit.

It is with great sadness that we, as a nation, mourn the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. For over seven decades she has served the Nation and the Commonwealth with extraordinary stamina, diligence and commitment, all underpinned by the depth of the faith and the sense of her life as a Christian vocation.
As we all recognise the emotions that we feel at this time as a nation we enter a period of national mourning until after her burial. As a church in our community we will now adjust to this period.

Holy Trinity Church will be open for quiet reflection, light a candle and to sign our book of condolence:

Saturday 10 September, Monday 12-Saturday 17 September: 9:30am-5pm

If you wish to lay flowers in remembrance of the Queen then we have made space at the front of both our churches to do so.

Our church services will continue as normal but the decision has been made for the BBQ planned to take place at Holy Trinity on Sunday to be cancelled. Instead the church will be open 1-5pm for quiet reflection, prayer and remembrance.

And finally, as we mourn the loss of the Queen, the grief for others who we have lost, recently or many years ago, can catch us unawares. If you wish to talk to anyone about loss you have experienced then please do contact the Pastoral Care team on [email protected] and a team member will be only too happy to come and spend time with you.

We will all be impacted differently by the news of the Queens passing, so please take a moment to mourn, to reflect and to pause.

Yours in Him,
Rev Neil Hopkins

A lovely opportunity if you are interested in craft activities. πŸ˜€

😍Hello, my name is Viv, I am the proud owner of the Creation Station Woking & Guildford, and I have been managing my franchise since 2018.

After the last few turbulent years, during which time I not only maintained but have grown my business, my family needs have changed and I have decided now is the time to focus on their growing needs.

I have loved running my Creation Station career, that has provided me with the flexibility, control of my work life balance and the opportunity to run a successful and well loved business. I have been able to choose when I work, with whom I develop partnership, plan and achieve my life goals and to reap the rewards of being a franchise owner.

Unfortunately a personal development in my family has shifted my priorities and I now need to focus my time and efforts in supporting my family. For those who know me and have worked with me, you will know how passionate I am about The Creation Station and how much I absolutely love this business. It really is an amazing franchise that will give you all the support you need to continue to grow this business.

My territory is large, being an established franchise which I bought from the previous fabulous and creative owner. The postcodes covered in my area are GU1, GU4, GU21, GU22, GU23, GU24 & GU14. Should you live in these areas and wish to be a part of an exciting business, please get in touch!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️If this is something that you would like to hear more about, please contact either myself on [email protected] or 07500 344346 or Ruth at our Head Office on [email protected] πŸ€©πŸ‘

❀To all my existing customers: There will be no change to any classes or upcoming events or parties. Business will continue as usual and I will ensure that you will be left in more than capable crafty hands β€πŸ˜‰

Please can we have your washed grape / strawberry containers? Leave them on top of the fridge in cabin. We use them for our donations of loose tomatoes, beans, mushrooms etc. Thanks so much.

This week temperatures are going to be high. This message is a bit of guidance and advice for those attending pre-school and toddler sessions:
- please apply sun cream to your child/children before they come into pre-school/toddler sessions.
- children will be encouraged to drink water more throughout the sessions and water bottles will be refilled as many times as needed.
- please remember to dress your child appropriately, closed toed footwear, shoulders are covered by a t-shirt and provide a sun hat.
May I also add that at the hottest points of the day we will be keeping the children in either shady areas or inside.
We want to enjoy the sunshine as well as keep safe.

I would like to say a big thank you to my amazing team!
I truly appreciate the time and commitment you all give to make our pre-school amazing and fun for all the children that attend. The support and understanding we give to each other in good times and hard times in our professional and personal life has, for all of us, been invaluable at those times.
We are a fantastic team and more importantly, friends!πŸ₯°

Today we share our appreciation for all those working in early years settings, schools and colleges.

Your hard work and commitment is inspirational. You are giving children and young people the very best start in life.

Yesterday at our toddler session, we enjoyed messy play with bees in honey (custard powder)! It was World Bee Day and one of our children in pre-school wore this great hoodie yesterday.
Bee You!
It's a great reminder to encourage each child's individuality and celebrate the similarities and differences in all of us!
Next Thursday's session, we are making crowns. To book a free place click on the link.

πŸ˜€ We love playdough. We make it fresh each week, with the children helping us weigh and count out the ingredients. Then they help with stirring the ingredients together and kneading the playdough when it is cool after it has been made. It is so good for strengthening the muscles in their hands and fingers, improving and developing their fine motor control. πŸ˜€

Here are the fabulous benefits of allowing kids to play with play dough and the many learning opportunities that happen along the way!

World Penguin Day coincides with the annual northward migration of penguins. This happens each year on or around April 25th. Penguins do not fly. Rather, they walk, or waddle their way to and from.
We are making penguins at our free toddler sessions this week! 1.30 - 3pm, Mondays and Thursdays.
