Really looking forward to meeting the children who have signed up for these brand new clubs starting this week. Bringing lots of Spaghetti Maths fun to schools across the Wirral.

We have had a super Spaghetti Maths morning at Greasby Children’s Centre this morning. Our Spaghetti Mathematicians investigated Platonic solids and made a pop up octahedron; challenged themselves with some individual practical shape tasks; played lots games both inside and out; completed a Hexi-Fun challenge.
Looking forward to our next session on Friday. Still places available for children in Y1-Y6.

Spaghetti Maths Wirral is holding 2 Easter workshops at Greasby Children’s Centre for children in Y1-Y6. The sessions are run by an ex- headteacher with over 25 years in education.
Staff are DBS checked and first aid trained .
The sessions will involved making one of our amazing Spaghetti Maths shapes, problem solving games and puzzles and time to make new friends.
Spaghetti Maths have been running highly successful after school maths clubs in 15 schools across Wirral this year.
Spaghetti Maths removes the barriers to traditional maths learning and ensures children of all abilities develop a love and fascination of maths in the world around them!

Are you enthusiastic about working with children?

We are looking to recruit someone to help deliver our fun and creative maths after-school clubs in primary schools across Wirral.
Spaghetti Maths are looking for enthusiastic, outgoing individuals who are passionate about working with Primary School children.
We offer one-hour after school sessions in Primary schools and each week cover a variety of mathematical topics in a creative and exciting way. You will be given full training and provided with the Spaghetti Maths content and materials to run the clubs.

Hours of work: Working days can be flexible. Sessions are 1hr and you will need to be available between 3pm and 5pm on the days you can work.

Requirements:

Experience working with primary aged children is essential.
Ability to foster positive relationships with students to enhance their learning experience and have fun!
An enhanced DBS certificate is essential. We'll apply for this if you don't have a current DBS.
2 references confirming your suitability to work with children.
GCSE Grade "C" or above in maths.
Willing to travel to schools across Wirral. Access to a car is useful, but not essential.
You must be reliable and punctual.
