KL Dance Academy

As many of you know, KLDA is coming to an end. This has been a very difficult decision to make but one that is unavoidable.

Due to personal circumstances, I am unable to offer 100% commitment to classes, so it would be unfair to keep going.

I want to thank every single person that has ever taken one of my classes for all of your support throughout the years, none of this would have been possible without you!

I am going to be holding auditions for a competition crew sometime in the near future, so please keep a lookout for this!!

Guys I'm so so sorry, I'm going to have to cancel classes again tonight 😔 I'm still in a lot of pain with my back, and it's not fair for you all to pay class fees when you won't be learning anything, as I can't teach new choreo!! Back to normal next week 🙈

Unfortunately, classes tonight are cancelled!
I injured my back on Sunday and am still unable to move properly. Because of this, I cannot safely assist with lifts etc. during our Acro class.

I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but I have to follow correct health and safety procedures.
Tomorrows street classes will still be going ahead as usual!

Just a reminder: There are NO classes this week due to it being half term.

Main Doors will open for parents at 7:20pm, but there is a waiting area with a bar where you can wait whilst pupils warm up.

Show starts at 7:30pm.

No ACRO class tonight! All other classes are still on tho, as we need to rehearse for our performances on Friday.

Anyone not attending classes will be taken out of dances, so please can we have full attendance tonight and tomorrow to sort out position changes!

On the letters given out today, there is a small error. Comp payments need to be made by THURSDAY 19th NOVEMBER!!

Due to dances not being ready in time, we will not be entering any into the CRE-8 competition on Sunday 22nd November.
However - if anyone still wants to enter a solo/duo, please let me know ASAP so I can enter you! Entries need to be in by tomorrow. Anyone that doesn't let me know by then will not be entered.

We are still entering the ICE Comp on Sunday 29th. Entry fees are now due in.

Attendance tonight is SO important! I know that it's bonfire night but please try you're best to attend.

Anyone that doesn't attend classes will be taken out of any section that is learnt tonight, as we only have a few weeks until our comp and shows!

With the leftover sponsorship money from our Summer Showcase, we've been able to purchase a new piece of equipment! Our Acro lessons are about to get interesting 😊

Due to a print error, letters will not be handed out tonight. They will be given out next week. This is just to avoid any confusion!

Just to remind everyone - can you please let me know if you aren't attending lessons. It only takes 2 minutes to send me a text/message.
Also, attendance is key from now until December, especially if you want to be able to take part in the Comp & Show!

Just had date through for the ICE Winter Comp in Birmingham - SUNDAY 29th NOV!
Please keep this date free!
We have 11 weeks to get routines done and polished, so the hard work begins on Wednesday.

ALL CLASSES will be taking part (Acro are a maybe at this point)

ACRO PARENTS - Can you all please double check what size leotard you have at home. One of the girls lost hers at the show. I have one but it isn't hers. The one I have is a 1B (7-8). The one we're looking for is a 2 (9-10) and has stitching coming away from the shoulder.
