What an absolute incredible day!
We honestly cannot thank each and every one of you that made us so welcome in the Village today.
Never in our wildest dreams could we have imagined the generosity and kindness both old and new customers have shown us.
We feel so blessed to be here and cannot wait to contribute to the village as we make it more musical!
We would like to extend our thanks to all the locals too,
our absolutely incredible workman David Guest Interiors who kitted the place out over the last few weeks
Carpets Direct for our brand new flooring.
Aqua sign and print for our new signs and banners.
The food outlets for fuelling our late nights.
Sim Mayou for all the hardware needs.
Maunds for anything and everything we could have asked for.
The bloom room for our stunning welcome gift.
And to the Pelsall First Councillor Team for welcoming us with tremendous support and making us feel right at home, we cannot thank you enough for all your encouragement and helping us open today.
To be surrounded by the love, kindness and support of the community is indescribable and we cannot wait to continue The Music Den legacy here.

For 17 years we’ve welcomed you at our little Leamore music store. Today we closed those doors to the public for the final time. It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions but we’re looking forward to new beginnings.
As you can see, the lads were their usual helpful selves with packing down.
The Music Den team will see you in Pelsall on Saturday 26th for the start of our new adventure!
With much love,
Leamore is over and out.
It's the update you've all been waiting for!!!!!
We are on our final week in Leamore..... the end of an era!
We are here until 19th August. Then closing our doors to the public week beginning the 21st and RE-OPEN in Pelsall on 26th August.
The Music Den team would like to thank each and every one of you for your patience whist we've been backward and forward to the new place.
We can't wait for you all to see it and start our new chapter. Jamie has also ordered the red carpet 😂
In the mean time, please enjoy a short video that one of our lovely students has produced for us. Ethan is a pure delight, sharing funny jokes and always putting a smile on our faces week after week.
All welcome on our open day,
See you there
Jamie and Abi

After 14 weeks of being closed we are finally opening back up on Wednesday 14th September.
We would like to say a huge thankyou to all of the trades men/women that have worked so, so hard to get us to the stage where we can open up again.
We will be operating on an appointment only basis initially.
Please call ahead of time to book an appointment with a member of staff. This will allow our final stages of building work to be completed over the coming weeks.
Secondly, another huge thankyou to all of the students who have been so understanding throughout.
We are humbled by all of the messages of support and well wishes throughout these 14 weeks of utter madness..
We have put together a rebuild vlog and Grand Re-opening video to show little snippets of the process with help from a special guest premiership/England football super star!!! (or so Jamie thinks).
Once again thank you to each and every one of you for your constant support and custom.
We couldn't do it without you...

During the night a incident occurred which has damaged our front shutter. Thankfully everyone involved is okay.
We are still here as normal but please give us a call as we will be operating on appointment basis only until work has been completed.
We are trying to minimise disruption to lessons and most can go ahead as planned (please drop a message to your tutor to double check).
On the plus side, Jamie has always wanted a drive-through option…..
Please comment below with soundtrack suggestions, Jamie’s going with “another brick in the wall”.
We are very thankful that no one seriously injured.
Thank you all for all the kind messages we’ve received and offers of help.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our awesome guitar tutor Tom K!
Our latest video is now live on our Youtube channel. We had a customer who wanted a bass but banjo style. Feast your eyes on the Bob-Anjo 001.
As usual please watch till the end for the outtakes which include forgotten lines, French Lessons and the world's worst Elvis impression from Jamie.
We hope you enjoy the video.

Lessons will be online Thursday, Friday and Saturday this week. Jamie and Tom K will resume face to face lessons on Sunday 9th.
Hope you are all rested, and enjoyed the festive period.
We are still following government guidelines, please continue to wear a face mask at the shop and book an appointment ahead of time.
See you shortly!
Jamie and Abi
And that’s that! We are broken up for Christmas!
What a year?!?
Thank you for all of your support during this rollercoaster! Here’s to a much steadier 2022.
We will see all you lovely lot in the New Year!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all of us here at The Den.
Christmas jumpers, biscuits and tea! The lads are being spoilt by you lovely lot. Let’s hope they do some work today.
You just couldn’t write it at the minute.
Unfortunately the boiler decided to stop working late last night, after misbehaving all afternoon. With the cold weather and us unable to warm the shop and tuition rooms properly we are going to have to shut the shop today (Friday) and potentially tomorrow.
We have got an engineer coming out later this afternoon but in the event of a replacement (which it looks like it might be from what we’ve been told) it won’t be fitted until Saturday at the earliest.
We can only apologise for the inconvenience.
All of the lessons will be taking place online tonight and Saturday (however we will update you if we can return sooner).
For anybody collecting presents for Santa Claus to deliver please drop us an email and we can rearrange your appointment times for early next week.
Please use Facebook messenger email or Skype your tutor should you need us as we may not have access to the phone all day.
Many thanks and final apologies for the inconvenience to everyone! Back up and running as soon as we can!
Following on from Boris’ announcement on Saturday it is now mandatory that you wear a face mask while in the shop.
While we are aware it is being reviewed in 3 weeks we will be monitoring this closely.
As we understand it if a single person enters our shop with this new variant, we would have to isolate for 10 days; meaning we would have to shut our doors once again.
On the lead up to Christmas and with so many presents being collected it’s not something we wish to happen.
We are asking you to please be extra vigilant and do not enter the shop with any covid symptoms. We still have the option of online lessons, so no student misses out on their education.
We are still encouraging you to book appointments ahead of time and we will still be limiting the amount of customers on the shop floor at any one time.
Lets continue to play our part to keep everyone safe.
The Music Den Team
We're open as normal today despite the snow.
Tutors are here and Jamie is behind the desk for all your guitar needs.
Please only travel if it safe to do so, should you need an online lesson today please drop your tutor a message.
The Den is up to its tricks again.
We’ve got Dracula, a skeleton, a mermaid, a peaky blinder and not forgetting Little red riding Bob!
Here’s a few photos/ videos from our crazy Saturday, not much work has been done, but plenty of chocolate and sweets has been consumed.
Also check out a few of our super spooky students and their fabulous costumes.
We have cake, it could only mean one thing!!
Happy birthday boss man Jamie!!!!!
Monday 19th July saw “freedom day”. So we thought now would be the best time to update you on our Covid policies in store.
Masks will still be worn by staff when serving customers and we would encourage you to continue to wear a mask when entering the shop. We will still be using hand sanitiser stations and will disinfect instruments between use. We ask that visitors will continue to use the hand sanitiser station before touching the books or instruments in store, this allows us to feel confident that we are keeping our environment safe for all.
Please understand that our staff are still vulnerable regardless of the 2 jab vaccine and we still have a duty of care to keep everyone that walks through our door safe and secure.
We will still be operating on our limited hours of 10.30 – 4.00 through the 6 weeks holiday and would still encourage you to ring ahead to book appointments to help us control the foot fall in store.
Throughout the pandemic we have only had 1 staff member in isolation (due to contact outside of the shop) and we would like to keep this number down so we can continue to see you walk through our door regardless of the ever rising case numbers.
We will still be observing social distancing for tuition and will still have a limit of just the pupil and 1 other person in tutor rooms. Instruments will be disinfected between use and tutors will still send work electronically where possible. Online tuition is still running as normal.
Like always, please do not come into the shop if you feel unwell or are meant to be in isolation. You may be asked to vacate the premises should a staff member feel you are spreading the virus into our store.
The Den would like to thank each and everyone of you for your support and consideration throughout the pandemic and we hope that you all know how much we respect you following the guidelines to keep us all safe in these uncertain times.
We are closed today and tomorrow as it is Jamie and Abi’s wedding weekend!

HAPPY NEW YEAR FOLKS!!! (Yes it really has been that long since we have been open!)
It is with great excitement we can announce we will be opening again on Tuesday 13th April!
We have been very busy behind our closed doors. The shop has had a mini make over and Abi has been hard at work cleaning up the boys messes (see if you can tell in the before and after pictures) and designing new work uniform. Don’t worry though, that mess is some fantastic new stock that we can’t wait for you to see!
Please speak to your tutor regarding returning to face to face lessons, they will update you accordingly.
We will still be observing social distancing and all covid safety protocols. This means that we will still have reduced numbers on the shop floor. Please ring ahead of time to help us control the foot fall and wear a mask unless medically exempt.
At the moment we will be operating on reduced hours but this will change as the restrictions are eased. Please see below our new opening hours;
Tuesdays - Fridays 10.30 - 4.00
Saturdays 10.00 - 4.00
Lesson times are unaffected.
The Den is very excited to see you all again.
See you all soon!

Thank you for all for your support and love this year, it’s definitely been an odd one.
We’ve had so many generous donations from people over the last few months that have all been very well received!
Sadly, we haven’t done a new Christmas video this year due to the restrictions but hopefully we will be able to film one for next year.
The Den would like to thank each and every one of you for your support and understanding throughout the pandemic. We’re here, open and doing what we love because of all of you.
We will be here Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday next week and return to normal hours January 2nd.
