The Sure Start Palfrey / Chuckery & Paddock Children's Centre Partnership Board is the decision making body for Sure Start Palfrey / Chuckery & Paddock Children's Centre.

We are looking for parents/carers who live in Palfrey, Delves, Caldmore, Chuckery, Paddock, Park Hall who are registered with Sure Start Palfrey Children's Centre or Chuckery & Paddock Children's Centre to join the Partnership Board. We are looking for people with enthusiasm, commitment, team work skills and an interest in Sure Start Children's Centres.

As a Board Member, you will be able to contribute and have your say about any aspect of the Children's Centres at the quarterly Board meetings and also learn valuable new skills. You will support the Children's Centres' vision, objectives and core values and assist in defining and ensuring compliance with them and also assist in the setting of plans and strategies. You will also have the opportunity to participate in other meetings, events and other work as appropriate.

Being a Board Member is a challenging, enjoyable and rewarding opportunity. Here are a few of the benefits:

- The opportunity to develop new skills and to strengthen existing ones.

- The opportunity to work with a wide range of people from a variety of social, cultural and religious backgrounds.
