Sunday nights are the perfect time to sit back, take a breath and relax as we process the events of the last few days and prepare for the week ahead. 💙
The meditation I will guide you through is called Yoga Nidra.
Through this practice we can take some much needed time for ourselves and find stillness of the body, soul and mind, allowing us to truly relax. 🧘♀️🧘♂️
During this meditation I will give you the space and opportunity to reflect on any events of the previous week, helping you to process them and set your intension for the week ahead.

Free Kids Meditation
Meditation is a fantastic tool for children to have! 🤩
It enables them to process emotions, thoughts, and feelings in a safe place, they have the opportunity to be calm and make sense of feelings prompting them to ask questions to help put fears and anxieties to rest.
I would love to give you and your children this tool to help them make sense of the world we live in, especially right now! ☺️
I have chosen Sunday evenings to offer a taste of mediation to your children, these meditations are aimed at:
- Helping them learn about breath work,
- Engaging their parasympathetic nervous system (so it naturally starts to ‘kick in’ when needed)
- Helping them get the most out of their imagination
- Aids relaxation, calm and sleep.

A few benefits of meditiation:
- Meditation teaches us how to calm the mind. We can do this through being aware of our breath and body.
- As we calm our mind through breath work our heart rate will follow.
- Deep calm breathing and a calm steady heartbeat engages our para-sympathetic nervous system (our ‘rest and digest’) as opposed to our sympathetic nervous system (our ‘fight and flight’).
- During meditation,while we are in ‘rest and digest’ we are able to focus and process our emotions, thoughts, and feelings, rationalise and make sense of our thoughts.

We all know how important physical activity is to build healthy bones, muscles, heart, and lungs, however, exercise is also a fantastic way to promote overall wellbeing, this is because moderate exercise helps the body produce hormones called Endorphins.
Endorphins are not only our body’s own natural pain killers, but they can also improve our mood! 🥰

So its Autumn time, the weather is getting colder, the nights are drawing in...
I say wrap up warm, get out there, stay active and enjoy the things you love 😍
Wrapping up warm, getting outside, feeling the Autumn sunshine on your face and the sharp wind blowing your hair all over the place 🙈really wakes you up and improves your energy levels, but don't just take my word for it...
How can nature benefit my mental health?
Spending time in green space or bringing nature into your everyday life can benefit both your mental and physical wellbeing. For example, doing things like growing food or flowers, exercising outdoors or being around animals can have lots of positive effects. It can:
improve your mood
reduce feelings of stress or anger
help you take time out and feel more relaxed
improve your physical health
improve your confidence and self-esteem
help you be more active
Grab your Resistance bands and head outside to train 🏋️♀️
We all know the benefits to being outside especially on a beautiful breezy day, and resistance bands are so versatile and fun to use too !
Not only are bands good for stabilising and balancing out muscle imbalances, they are also amazing for muscular endurance (training our muscles to last longer under strain) or if you planning a heavy weight session, use them as a warm up ! ...win win 😉
Portable equipment, dig out what you have and take it into the garden, enjoy the outdoors while exercising 😎
A Gym ball, Swiss ball, Exercise ball whatever you call it, is so easy to use to improve your balance, flexibility and core stability!
Also a good laugh, especially if your son happens to be around when trying to work out ! 🙈
When we work on Stabilizing our balance we are engaging deep core muscles such as our Transverse Abdominis and Erector Spinae, helping to achieve a flat stomach, sculpt muscle tone, and relieve lower back pain !
so there you go ... good for your Abs and Mental health, Win Win as my good friend would say 😃

During lockdown, make your exercise fun. Use what you have to hand, even if it is your daughter 🤷🏻♀️
Exercise releases endorphins, our feel good neurotransmitters, so sprinkle in a little laughter, and some sunshine and you’re sure to feel good!
