The Durham University Alumni Chapter in Hong Kong is spearheading a webinar event on the 15th May 2021 (5pm HKT / 10am BST). We invite all alumni and friends in Hong Kong and around the world to join this inspiring and thought-provoking event.
Log onto the Dunelm website to register for the event.
The blurb is set out below:
"The human costs of the coronavirus pandemic have been tremendous. In addition to affecting the health of communities around the world, it has taken an immeasurable toll on people economically, emotionally, and socially. The virus has also upended the business sector, causing substantial disruptions to operations, supply chains, and production cycles. Therefore, it is more important now than before to consider building adversity and resilience in life and business.
In May 2021, our alumni and supporter community will be joined by two leading voices in business and entrepreneurship: Dr Joanna Berry and Professor Andrew Harrison. Dr Berry and Professor Harrison will engage in a conversation about building and maintaining adversity and resilience in times of crisis, expanding our horizons in such times, and the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead for both young graduates and experienced professionals. Since some communities are gradually transitioning into the post-pandemic world, Dr Berry and Professor Harrison will also speak about the attributes and skills that we can develop at the current crossroads that will enable us to confront the future and the next crisis in our personal and professional lives."
