Our School was formed in August 2019, bringing together the expertise, knowledge and research from the School of Pharmacy (which first opened in 1994) and the Institute for Science & Technology in Medicine (which was formed in 2006). Our Story

Welcome to the Research page of Keele University School of Pharmacy & Bioengineering. Researchers at the School are involved in a vast range of research from educational and professional pharmaceutical research to drug discovery, regenerative medicine, healthcare technologies, biomedical engineering design, bioPhysics and materials. Our research takes place in in laboratories and clinical research facilities at Keele University campus, the Guy Hilton Research Centre in Hartshill and three main NHS hospitals: University Hospital of North Midlands (UHNM), the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt (RJAH) Orthopaedic Hospital, Oswestry and the Haywood Hospital, Stoke on Trent.
