St Mary's Messenger 183 Dates for the Diary

Today, the School Council and selected representatives from our school have been privileged to visit the Palace of Westminster.
We listened to Lords and Baronesses debating the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill in the House of Lords before going across to the House of Commons to hear a debate on water safety education.
The children had a guided tour of the Palace of Westminster, learning about its history and the changes over the years.
They learned what happens in the House of Lords and the House of Commons and our guide commented on how knowledgeable our children were.
Each one of them represented our school so well - being curious, asking thoughtful questions and showing great respect. What an incredible and memorable day we have had.

Wow! Is anyone else feeling that this year is flying by? How can we be on the final term already? Here’s to a magical summer term.

How has your week been? Our Year 6 have made us all incredibly proud. What an amazing group of young people - smashed their SATS with smiles on their faces. Couldn’t ask for anything more. 🥰
