Come down to Worker Bee Markets today in … is here and it’s open until 3pm…

We are fast approaching the start of Week (10th-19th March) . if you haven’t got something planned yet, don’t worry - it isn’t too late! Here are a few ideas:

Phosphor STEM Club - Walking Robot STEM Activity Box
Okay, we are biased… but the schools we have worked with have found these boxes to be brilliant for getting kids excited about STEM!
We recommend that a robot box could be used by a group of around 4 students. It’s a great team building activity, which you can finish off with a nail-biting robot race!

Each box comes with 6 x hours worth of activities and experiments, as well as teachers notes (so there is minimal prep time for you involved). Email us at [email protected] and we can send an invoice directly to your school, and get it shipped out in time for Science Week.

British Science Week Resources (Free!)
The British Science Week Website have free activity packs for Primary ( and Secondary ( schools. These packs have a wide range of suggested activities using materials that you can find around the classroom. Our favourite bit of these is the links they make between each activity and potential careers!

BBC Bitesize - Science Week (Free!)

Here you can find all their videos grouped into different categories / themes. It’s a bit slow to navigate, as there is no search or filtering function - but these videos are great for helping young minds get a firm grasp on tricky concepts.

We save science teachers time by producing high quality, well-designed and engaging science literacy resources - based around cutting-edge science and scientific issues happening right now!

Made by science teachers for science teachers.

Downloading our FREE resources would save you at least 15 hours of your own time:

We produce 5 topical science resources every month in the academic year. Over 25+ man hours go into making our monthly resources, which would save you considerable time and energy to focus on just teaching.

October is ADHD Awareness month…

I‘m very passionate about every child being given all the opportunities to make a life they want to live in the future…

I have written this blog piece for to raise awareness of the condition. Read it here:

Please spread the awareness far and wide, we need to present the facts and bust the myths about this health condition.

It is so important that the education system works for all:

’These children need to realise they have many possibilities and strengths. Like all children, they need suitable challenge and support to fulfil their own full potential.‘

I was in a local school last week and really thought this wall captured what education really should be all about…

Also, I think from a science/STEM point of view:

Opening the students up to all the potential opportunities in the future.

Encouraging them not to close down or think science is not for them.

Showing them everything around us is changing so quickly, so they need to see learning as a lifelong pursuit.

What do you think? 🤔

Here is the Christmas Market line up for Worker Bee Markets 2022… we will have our exciting science products at most of them! 🎄🚀🛰🔭🎁
