1.4 million long-term visas issued in past year

Today, the government has admitted how many visas have been issued in the 12 months and, incredibly, the statistics show that a total of 1.356 million long-term visas have been issued.

There were 321,000 visas granted to people on work routes, plus a further 218,000 visas issued to their spouses and/or children.

Half a million visas were issued to students, plus a further 150,000 to their dependants.

175,000 people were offered humanitarian access to stay in the UK.

Meanwhile, the government returned only 4,193 foreign nationals who didn’t have permission to be here, or had committed a crime.

“The mother has refused and ran towards the school with her daughter.

“The mother then heard a screech of car tyres and a black/ blue vehicle has made off towards Dyche Lane, with the three males inside. Unfortunately, no number was got for the vehicle.”
