We’ve had a fab day here at Kirkcaldy High School. We’re delivery workshops on behalf of Royal Air Force Youth Engagement Team and have seen some excellent looking robots and brilliant too.

We had a brilliant day with Year 5 at Cotmanhay Junior School in today, working on activities with students on behalf of DNE Eko STEM.

The children have been building and coding robots and integrating sensors into their designs. Well done! 👏

Once again it was an incredible show and family event at RAF Cosford Air Show (Official) on Sunday.

We’re honoured to have been able to contribute with our robotics activity in the STEM Hangar 15. ✈️

We’re had a cracking day with Year 6 at Welton Primary
near Hull on Friday! The students created their own control schemes for mini drones, and used repetition and angles knowledge to create algorithms to fly their drones in polygon shapes. Well done! 👏

It was an absolute pleasure to be visiting Merrylee Primary, Glasgow with Royal Air Force Youth Engagement Team yesterday. We love visiting Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 - and judging by the performance of the learners so far, it’s no wonder some of the most renowned engineers throughout history have hailed from here.

We were here on behalf of Royal Air Force Youth Engagement Team teaching the students how to build and code robots.

On Monday we had a fantastic morning at Yew Tree Primary School, Tameside.
We were working with the Y6 students on behalf of Royal Air Force Youth Engagement Team teaching them how to build & robots that are made out of Lego.

Last week, we had an amazing day at St James', Hattersley on behalf of Royal Air Force Youth Engagement Team
Year 5 and 6 students rocked the RAF Mighty Mind challenges using STEM skills 💡🚀

We had another exciting day yesterday in Years 1 and 2 at St John's C of E Primary School as students learnt trackpad skills on laptops! Clicking, dragging, and labeling for a hands-on tech lesson.😁

What a great morning working with Y7 and Y9 at Pebble Brook School in yesterday! Students have been building and coding Lego robots, and working together to solve problems. 👍👏

We had a brilliant day working with 16-18 yo students USP College
in on Wednesday as part of their CPD / Careers Day! Students built, coded and modified their own quizzing robots. Lots of creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, thoughtful discussions and laughter! 👏😠

Explored the world of photo editing in Year 4 and 5 last Friday at St Luke's Primary School in Bury! We also had a thoughtful conversation on the ethics of altering images. 📸💻

Had an awesome day last Thursday with the Y9 students here
at Ruislip High School. We tasked them to redesign our basic vehicle bot to carry some cargo and drop it from one place to another.

So far this academic year we have delivered over 130 fully-funded STEM workshops to schools across England, Wales and Scotland, and there are over 50 more pending delivery this term.

We have had confirmation of 25 days additional funding anywhere in the UK for Autumn term, courtesy of the Royal Air Force Youth Engagement Team.

Over the next academic year we expect to deliver around 200 days of fully-funded robotics and drone coding workshops. If you would like your school to be considered, please complete a quick application. If you have already applied previously, there is no need to apply again unless you have new information to share.

When funding is allocated by our generous partners, we'll use these applications to quickly identify the schools that best meet the funding criteria and location, then get in touch via email and offer the opportunity to book a date with us.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of running a robotics coding activity today at the incredible RAF Museum Learning in London as part of the event.

Great to see so many STEM ambassadors and organisations putting on a great experience for learners across North London.

On Tuesday, we had an awesome day at Ruislip High School. We were working with the Y7 students, building & robots. We saw some awesome designs and some really fantastic coding too.

We had a great day on Thursday on behalf of Royal Air Force Youth Engagement Team at Skegness Academy in . Year 6 students from feeder primaries, and Y7 and Y8 students from the Academy itself, learnt how to code 👍👏.
